Food with good taste and a quick service
Idly did not satisfy the taste buds but the iyengar style puliyogare nailed it with it's authentic taste!
Rates were quite normal.. and one can visit this place to taste the brahmins style of breakfast.
The thatte idli's are very soft & fluffy served with 2 types of chutneys. Filter coffee is great. All items on the menu are fresh & tasty.
I always notice the owner is present & ensures things are done right. Way to go.
The idlis are taken fresh out from the steam cooker in front of your eyes. They are extremely soft and and don't have any brittleness. The chutneys served and lick-worthy and mildly spicy to perfectly compliment the gut-innocuous idlis. Each day same taste.
There are other delicacies on the menu, but the idli definitely is the highlight ,as the name suggests. You could try the Khara Bhat which I found well balanced nutritionally, but slightly strong in aroma and spice. The Puliogare is claimed as a specialty here and is also good. It might not suit me personally, but sells well.
Definite 5 for hygiene. 4.5 for taste.
