Borma Café in Alappuzha is a very cute and cozy place with a lovely aesthetic — perfect for chilling and clicking a few pictures. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The hot chocolate was absolute heaven, easily the best thing we had there, and the desserts were genuinely amazing too. If you’re someone with a sweet tooth, this place is definitely worth visiting just for that. However, the savoury food was quite disappointing. The chicken sandwich was honestly the worst dish we tried, and even the fish and chips wasn’t good and lacked flavour. Overall, I’d recommend Borma Café mainly for desserts and drinks, not really for proper meals. Great vibe, amazing sweets, but very hit-or-miss food. My go-to spot all week in Alleppey. Loved the café latte and cheesy scrambled eggs. The salted caramel banana pancakes and cold South Indian coffee were good, though not exceptional. Skip ordering the shakshuka. I tried the minced beef shakshuka with parotta and it wasn’t up to the mark. The English breakfast is good. A cute, cozy café welcoming both locals and tourists. Lovely cafe, homely feel ambience, friendly hosts and staff! Their bakes are great both the sweet n savoury kind.My kiddo relished every bite of the cakes she ordered! Defo a must go place if you are in that area
