We visited Bopdev Machi Family Restaurant for a friend’s birthday lunch. The place looks great from the outside with a lovely hilly view — a peaceful setting with lots of potential. But the overall experience was underwhelming. There were flies both at the entrance and around our table, which really affected the hygiene. The food was decent and the quantity was satisfactory, but the menu was quite confusing — veg and non-veg dishes were all mixed together with no clear separation, and some items weren’t even listed. The waiter didn’t seem familiar with the menu either, which made ordering difficult. Despite a 4.9 rating with over 1000 reviews, the restaurant was almost empty during our afternoon visit (only 1 or 2 tables occupied). It might be more lively in the evening, but our visit didn’t reflect the hype. Good location, average food, and a lot of scope for improvement — especially in cleanliness, menu clarity, and staff training.
