If I could give a review of lower than ZERO, I would probably do that. Being a bong who has grown up consuming a variety of local desserts, I have the basic palette to evaluate what is good, what is bad, and what is just outright deplorable. Bong Moyra falls into the last category. They are duping people in the name of selling bengali sweets. Firstly those are not bengali sweets, but more importantly they are not sweets, neither are they a quality edible item. I purchased 3 different sweets from them - guess what, it just kept getting worse. I bought a Malai Chop from them that has a distinct smell of floor cleaners/disinfectants. We threw away sweets worth half a grand simply because it was just not edible by any scope of imagination. We usually never ever throw food, but this was bad at another level. It's unfortunate that no legal action can be taken against these perpetrators in our country.
Ordered gurer rosogolla which was good. Kalakand was good but amount was very less. Jol bhora was not upto the mark. Lengchas were really good. Overall good bengali sweets but dont try to compare it with authentic kolkata sweets in that case you will be disappointed. Price is too high for the quality and quantity given. Decent place if you have craving for bong sweets however be sure it will make a big dent to your pockets
