Been coming here since I was a kid , dad used to work at the bank of India opposite this awesome restaurant. It’s always packed tho tbh , food is great , washroom hygiene needs a bit more work, but overall it’s great. Close to the beach as well , so it’s great. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600

Bombay Restaurant is a must visit spot in calicut. It’s iconic, packed with flavour, and local favourite. We went for breakfast at 8am. The place was packed. Luckily, we got seat adjusted with other people. We ordered signature parotta with beef masala. It was top-notch. The masala was flavourful and perfectly cooked. The vellappam with chicken stew was comforting and well balanced. We finished the meal with a good cup of chai, which rounded it off nicely. Overall, a solid breakfast spot near Calicut Beach offering a decent dining experience. I will definitely visit next time to try their famous malabar style biryani. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
