I had visited this place on 24th Feb with a friend of mine. I had called and confirmed my reservation.
After reaching the place at 9PM, the Manager named Binny accommodated us to one table. It was all going fine, we ordered food and drinks – which was also not up to the mark, but still patiently sitting and enjoying the music. Suddenly, at around 10:45PM – one waiter /bouncer comes and asked us to Vacate the table. We had not requested for the Bill, yet we were asked to pay and vacate the table.When we asked for the reason – I was told, the table has a cover charge of 15000 INR. This was a sudden shock as no one had mentioned about it when the table was assigned to us .A complete disrespectful place. We had no option but to leave the place with half drinks and half food on the table as waiters were scary and mannerless and no respect for women .We had come out of home to party late that evening, but after this horrible experience, we had to come back home. I am actually based out of Bangalore, and I was in Mumbai for a week.I have visited many good night clubs in Mumbai in last one week but never had this Humiliating Experience which haunts me even today. This review is to warn the people to be aware of all this inside story of Bombay Cocktail Bar. The waiters / bouncers / manager inside this place are disrespectful and you will be asked to vacate the Table anytime.
If anyone from Bombay Cocktail bar is reading this – My request to you will be – Please ensure u provide proper training’s to your staff before they even convey any message to the customers and also ask the manager or the person who takes reservation to tell all your terms and conditions prior itself to the customers as this guy Binny expected me to know everything about this horrendous place
