I first tried their “omurice” years ago, back when I didn’t really know what authentic omurice was. I recently ordered it again, knowing better and this time it was clear — it isn’t omurice in the traditional sense. It’s essentially fried rice with an omelet placed on top. No distinct sauce, no soft, layered egg texture just a simplified version presented under the same name. It’s not terrible, but it’s misleading if you’re expecting the real thing. That said, the place itself is good and comfortable seating, pleasant atmosphere, and a nice spot to dine in. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Would not recommend going to Bistro29 on a busy evening. Waiting 40 minutes to an hour for my order to arrive is definitely not a good experience. I'm saddened that I don't even have a "go to" restaurant now. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Dine in Price per person: ₹400–600 Recommended dishes: English Breakfast
