I had a great experience here. the owner- amrisha is involved in the cafe and homestay operations hands on. the food they serve is very fresh- they bake their own bread too that are used in the sandwiches! the room was clean and very tastefully decorated. amrisha is very humble and takes time out to great and interact with the customers personally. if you prefer a homely, community vibe over a hotel then this place is your go to:) Service: 5

Bistro De Lavenia is the hidden gem of Tapovan. The charming owner Amrisha named this picturesque bistro after her daughter and the two ensure every moment you spend there is filled with warmth and community. The good was delicious, the chai masala and floral tea was divine. I havent had a chance to stay yet but if the bistro is anything like the accommodation it would be whimsical and a home away from home. Can't recommend enough.
