Tucked away in a cozy corner of Nagpur, Biryani Inc. might not come with silver cloches or a view of the Arabian Sea—but what it does offer is a mutton biryani that quietly creeps up on you and declares: “You’ve been missing this.”The biryani was a revelation—aromatic, perfectly balanced, and unapologetically rich. The mutton? Succulent and cooked just right, melting into the rice like it was always meant to be there. It’s easily one of the most satisfying biryanis I’ve had in a long time—comparable, dare I say, to the big leagues like Masala Bay at Taj Lands End, ITC’s K&K, and Persian Durbar in Mumbai. That’s not a comparison I make lightly.The mutton sukha (or bhuna) had depth but could’ve used a touch more heat to match the biryani’s boldness—but honestly, when the main act delivers this well, you forgive the side notes.This place feels like a secret you want to keep close—an ideal comfort fix after a long, chaotic week, especially on a breezy, drizzly evening when your soul craves something warm and indulgent.Nagpur, you’ve got a gem here.
