Today I had ordered a special Mini Thali from Amritsari Express South City Mall, Kolkata. Having Q no. 13 ( apprears to be). While booking the current Q number was 8, as appears to be on their display board. So I was keeping regular eyes on the display board for my Q number. But to my astonishment suddenly I saw Q no. 14 on the board. I might be checking my ph for couple of minutes. And the following Q numbers keep going on. Then as I went to the counter for enquiry, there were 2 guys bluntly said that my Q number is passed and my food was kept on the counter to be collected, became cold already. Now on view of above I want to mention following points/questions : 1. Are the men in the counters only there to keep fooda on the counter and press buttons? There are no other obligations, that trying to make sure that a customer gets the food, that he/she may be hungry. 2. The counter was almost empty, probably i was the single person present while giving order. And moreover i sat opposite to the counter, where the staffs were continuously can see me and not that they could forget my face within that couple of minutes. They could have easily called me and give that order. They never did, and my food ( as i found out later) is the only one lying unattended on the counter as they dont even bothered to cover it. 3. When i asked about my food, those staffs simple showed me the food, which already cold. Then as i argued they simply said my number was passed and just kept pressing nxt numbers. And I want they will reheat the same. Only when I asked to return me.the bill, they said will chage the food, which dint agreed and dint take the food. 4. Even the invoice printing machine was not working properly, as in the attached invoice one can see the Q number printed is confusing. Although the staffs were polite but they were pretty unprofessional and blunt for a hospitality industry. Probably better training should be given. Please try to improve the service so that no guest leaves your counter with disgust and hunger. Service: Dine in
