I had never been to Biryani by Kilo before, so I decided to try it one day. The ambience wasn’t good — it was hot inside as only one AC was working and it wasn’t effective. The chairs and tables looked old; they’ve clearly never updated the furniture. The only thing that seemed well-maintained was their copper or brass utensils, which matched the theme of the restaurant. Now about the food — I asked for Kolkata Biryani, but they told me it would take 40–50 minutes. So, I went with whatever was readily available and chose the Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani. They brought it in about 10 minutes, served in their signature utensils, along with some raita and a few onion rings. The taste was completely different. Either I’ve been eating the wrong biryani all my life, or the BBK biryani was just bad. I didn’t like the taste at all. Honestly, most other restaurants serve better-tasting biryani. If I have a choice, I’ll never visit this place again Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
