The proverbial hole in the wall snack centrally located on the busy Karve Road adjacent to Sahyadri hospital. I've been coming here since I moved to the city in early 2000's. Sabudana Khicdi + Dahi kakdi is very popular here. Pohe, Upma, Batata wada chutney all very good. Bread pattice is a must try. Expect heavy rush, but the wait is worth it. Kaka is polite and the staff do thier best to fulfill orders. I have been visiting this place since 2001 and I am a big fan. Be it college student, blue collar workers, or even well settled peeps, you will find everyone visiting this place. I love their batata wada sambar, sabudana khichadi and sabudana khichadi with dahi, pohe is what we recommend. This place has a very vibe and it's easy on the pocket. If you are new in Pune and on a budget, do check this place out, 2 wheeler parking available on the street, while 4 wheeler parking is a challenge.
