I recently dined at Bhukkad Restaurant, and while the food was quite satisfying, other aspects of the experience were merely average, making it a mixed overall visit. Starting with the positive, the food at Bhukkad Restaurant is definitely the highlight. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were delicious and well-prepared. I tried the paneer butter masala and the chicken biryani, both of which were flavorful and cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced, and the ingredients tasted fresh. The portion sizes were generous, making it good value for the price. However, the dining experience beyond the food was underwhelming. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite basic and lacks character. The decor is minimal and uninviting, which does little to enhance the dining experience. It feels more like a quick eatery rather than a place where you’d want to linger over a meal. Service was another area that fell short. While the staff was polite, the service was slow and somewhat disorganized. It took a long time for our order to be taken, and even longer for the food to arrive. There was also a noticeable delay in getting our bill at the end of the meal. Cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant were average at best. The tables were clean but the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept thoroughly. The restrooms were functional but could benefit from more frequent cleaning.
