Yesterday visited Bhanwarilal Mithaiwala in Mhow like I am doing every Sunday morning for past couple of weeks. This iconic sweet shop has been a staple in the area since 1945, serving delicious treats to locals and visitors alike. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by the aroma of freshly made sweets and namkeens. The variety of sweets and snacks is impressive with popular items like gulkand, malai barfi, samosas, and kachoris. I generally try their poha, kachori, jakebi and chole bhature. Yesterday also had malabar dosa. The service was prompt and the staff was courteous. What sets Bhanwarilal Mithaiwala apart is its rich history and heritage. Having served army personnel for generations, this shop has become an integral part of Mhow's culture. While prices might be slightly higher than other shops, the quality and taste justify the cost. The ambience is cozy with sitting at first floor also. Despite heavy crowd the service is always very prompt. Overall must visit while in Mhow.
