I had visited Bhalekars on 28 dec 22 evening for dinner. I eat regularly at bhalekars since couple of years.... this is a honest review so that people dont get fooled as i had a very bad experience.
I had had order sp crab,surmai and prawns . When we got the food the curries were looking different from usual, when tasted it felt like the curry was diluted with hot water and some chilly powder. The carbs masala was so salty as if it was made of sea water and the surmai was stale . Each and every item was tasted very bad .
When i called the manager nobody was ready to even look at us so i washed my hand and called the manager he came after 15 mins when i told him about the food he not at all interested to listen to me and gave silly reasons.
He didnt even had the courtesy to change my food . Then i asked him to call the owner i just conveyed my concerns to him paid the bill of 2914 ,didn't even eat the worst food and came out of the restaurant .
I noticed few things at Bhalekars , intialy the name was Bhalekars with a single board outside but now you can see two boards Bhalekars and Matsyagandha. The staff has changed might be the cook also. The food is worst now. The prawns served are fresh water hybrid prawns and not sea water. All items are stale . Manger was were arrogant and rude.
