I ordered the chicken tandoori and was absolutely shocked to receive a piece that was clearly rotten. The smell was unbearable, and the meat was discolored and slimy. This is completely unacceptable and a serious health hazard. It’s obvious there was no quality check before serving this. I had to throw it away immediately. Not only was the food inedible, but there has been no response or apology from the restaurant. Very unprofessional and disappointing. Below average food except Parotta,which is nice. None of the side dishes have good taste. Tandoori items are average in taste. Not much space for dining and service is not that attentive. I had dining here twice . Since side dishes are nowhere near mark, not going to recommend anyone. Only advantage is this restaurant is not so costly than other restaurents but clearly lacks quality. So, I first visited Bhai Kadai in 2015, when it was a hole-in-the-wall type of joint. The service was messy, the ambiance was loud and busy, etc. However, what has kept bringing me and my friends back to this place is the food. I cannot believe that one of the best tandoori chicken I have ever eaten is from this tiny joint on the fringes of Nanganallur. Even though the place seems to have had a facelift, the food is still great. The service is a little slower than what it was, but it wasn't problematic.
