This restaurant guy in commercial street outlet threatened to kill us!! Our worst restaurant experience ever!! Pray it closes soon for the safety of others!!
We are a couple- senior citizens- and have been visiting Commercial Street since the 80’s. Those days Bhagathram sweet stall was a friendly and popular sweet stall. We were visiting Commercial Street after a gap of some years. Was happy to note the stall still existed. We stepped in there. It was around quarter to one in the afternoon. Surprised to see all the dining tables were empty! The place looked not so welcoming. The wall fans were also extremely dirty. Yet as we were hungry we ordered fried rice and South Indian Thali meal hoping it would not take much time to serve. But had to wait for quite some time and finally got the fried rice ready. The portion was small but quality was sub standards and not to our taste. Thali meal was not ready and we did not hope it would be any better. We decided to look for another better restaurant for our lunch. So we cancelled the Thali meal which was any way not ready and paid the amount in cash for the fried rice. The lady started shouting at us and her son started threatening at us screaming at top of his voice that he would kill us! Shocking!! Wonder how these people could behave in such a violent manner to their customers, especially to senior citizens! The guy (the lady’s son) who threatened us needs urgent medical help for his mental wellbeing! We came to know from neighboring shops that many customers have faced unruly behavior from this restaurant which we read in recent reviews as well!
If you do not want your day ruined, then please do not go to this restaurant. We pray and hope this restaurant is made to shut down – sooner the better
