GHEE INFUSED... Famous for cooking everything in the purest ghee, its their vegetarian North Indian food they are sought after for. It was the traditional Rajasthani Daal Bati which came up tops for the Vyas family. The atta balls were baked to perfection and the dal hit the right spice notes. The tasty and hearty Punjabi staple of Sarson Ki Sabji and Makki Di Roti paired well with the creamy lassi. Ask for their all-time favourites, the crunchy Papad Churi or Khicha Churi (best-selling snack), Butter Chapatti or Desi Ghee Special Chapatti and Aloo Bhindi Fry. And don’t forget to ask for their Kutchi Beer (chaas in a beer bottle) and Sweet Lassi, too. End with the Moong Dal Sheera and Rabdi. I recently visited Bhagat Tarachand in Vashi, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. We started off with pani puri, which was crisp, tangy, and the perfect way to begin the meal. Next, we ordered paneer chilli, and I really enjoyed how soft the paneer was, with just the right amount of spice and flavor. Alongside, we tried their cheese garlic naan, which was buttery, soft, and loaded with cheese and garlic—it was easily one of my favorite items of the evening. For the main course, we went with paneer lasuni and mushroom masala, both of which were rich in taste and paired beautifully with the breads. To complete the meal, we ordered dal fry along with butter roti and butter naan. The dal fry was simple yet comforting, and together everything made for a hearty spread. I also couldn’t miss their signature buttermilk served in a beer bottle, which was refreshing and added a fun twist to the meal. The ambience is spacious and family-friendly, especially the AC section upstairs, although the place does get quite crowded during peak hours. Service was decent but a little on the slower side because of the rush. Prices felt slightly on the higher side compared to portions, but the overall taste and variety make it worth it.
