Ordered a chocolate cake from Gauri for my wife's birthday and it turned out amazing. I dunno much about cakes so I just asked her to make it super chocolatey — and she nailed it with a chocolate sponge, chocolate ganache, and buttercream. Looked great, tasted even better. My wife and I had planned to go on a sugar cut diet after her birthday, and this cake made sure we ended our dessert spree on the sweetest possible note. Rich, decadent, and beautifully balanced!! Gauri makes the yummiest and prettiest cakes. I've ordered from Beurre De Vanille on several occasions and it has always been a delight. The cakes are moist with the right amount of sweetness and almost too pretty to eat. It is clear that a lot of love and skill went into making them. Highly recommended, the Pistachio Melt is especially good! I will definitely be ordering again soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
