This cafe should be recommended for perfectly cooked Bbq chicken pizza, Bbq pizza and grilled chicken. After a long working week, you can taste delicious coffee. Belly Timber is recommended for the pleasant staff. The terrific service is something these restaurateurs care about. This place with the cool atmosphere can be a place to start your journey at. This spot has got Google 4.3 according to the guests' opinions.

Chicken Pepperoni Pizza (Medium) - Rs.520/- Hot Chocolate Bomb - Rs.150/- Belly Timber, New Hill Road, Jowai Cafe $$$ 03.05.2025 There is only one place in Jowai that I know of that serves Naga Food, so after finishing with today's work, we made our way to that spot. I checked Google Maps & it showed that it opens till 8pm. It was 7:30 when we reached & so I was very happy to see it still open since this is a place I've wanted to check out for over a year. We approached the restaurant only to find out that they had ran out of food to serve. I was a bit disappointed. Now Jowai has a lot of places to eat but some of them are a little inside town & they close down by 7:30-8pm. We all knew that One11 which was nearby is one of the few that closes till 9pm. But I wanted to check out a new place. So I decided on @belly_timber_jowai . Now this store opens till 8pm as per Google Maps & so we rushed there. I've eaten at their Shillong outlet many times since they opened but this was my first time in their original outlet. We stepped inside & it was jam packed. The place though is much more smaller than the one in Shillong. It carried forward some similar design cues from the Shillong outlet. We were lucky to get a table for four. Now I always go for their Pizzas in Shillong & wanted to see if there were any different from the one in Jowai. So we ordered a medium sized Chicken Pepperoni Pizza, Butter Chicken with Butter Roti & Pork in Bamboo Shoot with Plain rice. The guys had different beverages while I stuck with the Hot Chocolate Bomb. Me & Gavin shared the pizza & it was very good, if not better than the Shillong one. It had a thin crust with a layer of semi-stringy cheese with thin slices of pepperoni on top. If I'm not wrong, it seems that this had more quantity of meat than the Shillong one. I loved every bite of it. The pizza was top notch. I cannot emphasize how much I appreciate it. Next I moved on to the plain rice & bamboo shoot pork. The rice was of decent quality & though I was hoping so much for a bamboo shoot dish on the lines of a naga dish but this had more of Chinese flavors to it. There were enough pieces for me to share with Nebel. It was pretty decent. Then I tried a bit of the Chicken Curry. It was flavorful no doubt but was a little over seasoned. I finished off everything over a cup of hot chocolate which was served in a cup of milk & a huge ball of chocolate with a couple of marshmallows. It was just the perfect way to end my meal. Last orders were at 8:30pm but the guys asked for a few more beverages at 8:40 & there was no fuss made. Overall a good meal to end the day. Instagram ID - kari.on.eats.
