Having visited Bellagio last year on a weekday, I had found it buzzing with energy, packed with a lively crowd, and truly the place to be. This time, however, the experience was far from the same. It might have been the result of visiting on a Sunday or coinciding with the Ind-Pak match, but the vibe was disappointingly flat. The restaurant was nearly empty (which, of course, isn’t entirely in their control), but what stood out was the staff’s complete distraction. Most of them were glued to their phones watching the match. Honestly, they could have screened it for everyone and still managed to carry out their duties, but instead, it reflected poorly on the service. We had to repeatedly call staff for the most basic things—water, order-taking, or any additional request—where one usually expects proactive hospitality at such a venue. The drinks were another letdown—two came out entirely bland, clearly a miss from the bartender either forgetting to mix properly or skipping key ingredients. And just when we thought things couldn’t dip further, we found hair in not one but two dishes—pizza and naan. To their credit, the staff did apologise, struck those items off the bill, and even offered replacements, but by then the damage was done. All in all, what had once felt like a vibrant, must-visit spot turned into a less-than-ordinary experience this time. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
