Bela Blue Kitchen serves well on the ambience but not on the food. The restaurant has good enough parking, the ambience is really nice with individual spaces available for each tables. However, the restaurant needs to improve upon their service. Firstly, the service is slow. We ordered the following items: Fresh lime soda, iced latte, chicken popcorn for starters, and a chicken pesto pasta for the main course. We got the drinks in 10 mins, but the food took about half an hour to arrive. And this was the case with us being the only customers at the restaurant. The drinks were average at best. Funnily enough, the pasta that we ordered as the main course arrived before the starters. Absolute facepalm. The chicken popcorn arrived after we were finished with the pasta. Secondly, the only item worth mentioning was the pasta. It was very well cooked and flavourful. However, the quantity of pasta served was so little, even one person wouldn’t be able to fill up their stomach if they were to finish it up entirely. The chicken popcorn, although fried crispy and the chicken being tender, lacked proper seasoning thus making the taste a bit bland. The food for the quantity and quality also seemed overpriced. Chicken popcorn was priced at ₹210 with around 8-10 pieces, while the pasta which wasn’t even sufficient for one person was priced at ₹270. The place has the potential for being a cosy, ambient dining experience, if only the food quality and quantity is consistent. The staff though was very kind and hospitable.
