Via Swiggy I ordered paneer subz biryani for today's lunch as I liked the subz biryani I had yesterday. Guess what today I received steamed white rice with two gravies (paneer gravy and some veg gravy)...its not even flavored rice.. just old rice from the previous day... you can never claim chawal and gravy as biryani.... it doesn't stop there.... The rice and gravies were prepared the previous day ie., they were leftover stored from the previous day. I could clearly see the difference between the food I had yesterday and what I received today. Such a food brand scamming customers... You know what we aren't paying this much money to eat your left overs. I wish food inspection happens and this place shuts down. Food: 1

Delivery Experience
Ordered a King Size Murgh Makhni Biryani from Behrouz Porur via Zomato today. The order was placed at 1:09 PM and was promised delivery at 2:09. I got a notification at 1:36 PM that my order was on its way. I was mighty impressed that they despatched the order in less than 30 minutes. At 2:06 I get a call from a Faasos guy asking me for directions. He said he is at Porur junction and my house is about 20 minutes away. I was surprised that despite the order being ready 30 minutes ago at 1:36 they are still at Porur. ANyways I gave directions and kept waiting. When I did not see him at 2:30, I called back and found that its Faasos restaurant mobile and they had no clue on who the delivery boy was who called. I contacted Zomato support and after 5 minutes they said, the restaurant did not get my order. I was like WHAT !!
After an agonizing 20 minutes the delivery person calls me and says he is coming. Finally the order was delivered at 3:00 PM.

Food: The King Size biryani box was not really worth Rs. 440. It was not filling for 2 people for sure. I assumed it would be but its not really. The good part is the generous amount of Chicken in the Biryani but the quantity is certainly not in line with the price. Taste wise its a decent one.

Overall, I am not ordering again with Behrouz Biryani Porur just because of their poor delivery and quantity.
