Once the promenade around the Bhagsunath Temple is over, visit Beetroot Cafe. The menu of Korean and Thai cuisines is recommended to degust at this restaurant. It's a pleasant experience to order nicely cooked soup, soup dumplings and tofu. Tasty brownies are the best dishes. It's nice to try great coffee or good tea.

This is the place I’ve been eating every day to heal from an upset stomach. They have a great selection of healthy food here! You should try the Dumpling soup. The pancakes are also delicious. Pema and her mom have been adding extra touch of care and making sure to add ingredients that sit well in my stomach! Thank you, ladies! You made my recovery quick! I had several wonderful experiences at the Beetroot Cafe in Upper Bhagsu. The delicious food, generous portions, and thoughtful pricing for vegan options (although at times I noticed she did not label some items as vegan, like a sandwich I had on a day special) truly reflect her values of inclusivity and affordability. I highly recommend trying out their desserts, Buddha bowls, soups, Thenthuk, homemade breads, sandwiches, and chai. Additionally, I had the opportunity to attend a momo cooking class, which was not only enjoyable but also provided insight into the warm and loving atmosphere created by Pema and her mother as they manage the restaurant. The location has views of nature, and the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall add to the charm of the place. As I conversed with them daily, I was deeply impressed by her genuine recommendation for me to try another place to eat. This gesture truly showcases her open-mindedness, collaborative spirit, and commitment to ensuring her customers have the best dining experience possible.
