So one of my Goan foodie friend had suggested me this restaurant. Beachcomber is an open air restaurant located in the same property as Ocean Palms in Calangute, Goa. I visited the restaurant on Sunday afternoon with my partner. Our table was attended by Manager Shampa Pal. She was kind to welcome us and get us seated as per our preference and comfort. The servers were kind to serve us best of their dishes and were prompt at service by staying on toes throughout our meal. We started our meal with Golden Fried Squids and refreshing mocktail Fruit Punch. The quantity was great of the squids starter. Around 12-14 deep fried squid rings were served with tartar sauce. Squids coating was lip smacking good. The Mocktail was prepared by Shampa. Drink was insta worthy and the taste was very refreshing. Then we tried the next starter which was King Fish Tawa Fried Masala. 2 pieces of King Fish was marinated and cooked with Red Goan Masala. It tasted well with the side of green chutney. Next one was my favorite and the best of the day. Green Masala Stuffed Pomfret. Whole Pomfret was marinated in green masala and was shallow fried with minimal oil. The fish was cooked and fried to perfection. The taste was absolutely heavenly. Must recommended to you all if you are fish lover. Then we tried Grilled Fish with Lemon Butter Sauce. 2 juicy steaks of basa fish infused in herbs sided with sauted exotic veggies and lemon butter sauce. The taste was absolute comforting and it really matches our taste buds. In the Main Course we ordered Veg Pulao along with Prawns Bemisal. Pulao was fragrant and was made with long grain basmati rice. We mixed it with Prawns Bemisal which was red prawns medium spiced gravy. The combination was superhit. Me and my partner both loved it. We ended our meal on a sweet note with Chef's Special Fried Ice Cream. Regular scoop of ice cream was fried with a coating of egg and corn flakes. Tasted crispy good from out and gooey from inside. Overall a beyond amazing experience for me and partner at this beautiful restaurant Beachcombers in Calangute. Kuddos to the chef for the amazing meal. The portion, presentation and taste everything was amazing. Special thanks to Shampa and the team for warm hospitality and excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant to my followers and I will surely visit again the next time I'm in Goa. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200
