Come here for some rest after a long walk around Shanti Kunj. You may be offered such food as perfectly cooked rogan josh, paneer and chicken, don't hesitate to try them. The patient staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. This bar is remarkable for its fine service. You can pay your attention to the spectacular ambiance. Checked in to Hotel Shivalikview last week for a day's stay. This was the third time I was staying in this hotel. The hotel is centrally located and has a good garden, adequate parking space and a lovely and spacious lobby with a lot of comfortable sofas. The room I stayed in was spacious enough to move around and was well furnished with a coffee maker, mini fridge and a TV. The complimentary breakfast spread was good and the dishes were tasty too. On the negative side, the bathroom did not have hot running water. Even in the morning, all I got was lukewarm water with which I had to manage my bath in this cold season. I remember that this was also the main issue during my earlier stays in this hotel. Secondly, the maintenance staff should give a little more importance to room cleaning. Though the room looked overtly clean, on close observation, I found some hair in some corners of the room and wash basin, and the coffee maker had some water left in it from the previous usage etc etc. The hotel management should take care of these aspects to avoid complaints from its clients. Other than the above, the stay in the hotel was very comfortable. The rooftop Bar & Restaurant on the 6th floor has a beautiful view of the surroundings and the ambiance of the restaurant is very good. The live music singer was very good and he sang some beautiful numbers The food is very tasty and the staff are efficient and friendly. But, the rates are very much on the higher side..
