If you want to remember Mukteshwar Temple, come to this restaurant first. The menu of Bayroute is recommended to Lebanese and Mediterranean cuisine lovers. Nestled in the small bylanes opp Juhu Post Office and close to Novotel Juhu, the Bayroute restaurant cannot be missed. The exteriors are very contemporary however the interiors is propped with mid-eastern artware, look-n-feel. We went there for an occasion dinner and since we were not familiar with the wide cuisine our steward suggested a few dishes that would suit our taste pallete. For appetizers we opted for 'Humus Bayroute with Pita', juicy 'Kabab Joojeh' & 'Harissa Chicken Kabab'. For main course we went with the delicious 'Moroccan Lemon olive Chicken' which is a combo of chicken, veggies and rice and the all-time favourite 'Lebanese Shawarma'. One main dish would would serve 2 average eaters. For drinks we opted for mocktails - 'Aleppo Chilli Guava' and 'Thai Meets Middle East' with the latter not upto my liking. Its a combination of kaffir lime and coconut water which I personally did not like much. Overall, the experience was very good including ambience and and since the restaurant was at 50% capacity when we visited, the food was served within 15-20mins time. Would definitely look at visiting the other Bayroute outlets as well in the near future. [Jain friendly] Bayroute Juhu transported us to a vibrant tapestry of Middle Eastern flavors, offering a delightful vegetarian feast. The appetizers, an explosion of dips and mezze, were a symphony of textures and tastes. Each bite, from the creamy hummus to the smoky baba ghanoush, was a testament to the quality ingredients and skillful preparation. However, our culinary journey hit a rough patch when we ventured into the realm of Jain cuisine. Our main course, ordered with specific dietary restrictions, took an agonizingly long time to arrive. The initial excitement at indulging in a unique vegetarian experience waned with each passing minute, eventually giving way to disappointment. Just as we were about to lose our hummus-dipped spirits, our server intervened. Recognizing the delay, they apologized profusely and went the extra mile to salvage the experience. To our pleasant surprise, they presented us with a complimentary dessert, a decadent baklava that melted away our remaining frustration. While the service stumbled with the Jain dish, the food itself was undeniably excellent. The quality of ingredients shone through, and the chefs masterfully navigated the vegetarian terrain, showcasing the depth and versatility of Middle Eastern cuisine without relying on meat.
