Overall Rating: 2/5 Stars I was really excited to try this new restaurant, but it disappointed me on so many fronts. From the food to the service and ambience, the experience was underwhelming at best. Below is a detailed breakdown of my visit, which I hope the management takes as constructive feedback. Food (2/5): The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because of the somewhat decent starter—Chilli Potato—which had a nice crispy texture and a tangy kick, though it wasn’t exceptional. After that, things just went downhill. I ordered the usual main course items: Butter Roti, Garlic Naan, Paneer Lababdar, a cold drink, and ice cream for dessert. The Paneer Lababdar was a major letdown—bland, with a gravy that seemed to lack salt and any depth of flavor, as if the spices were an afterthought. The Garlic Naan and Butter Roti were overloaded with butter, leaving them greasy, and the burnt edges—likely from being cooked on excessively high heat—added an unpleasant bitter aftertaste. We had planned to order more, but after these three disappointing dishes, we decided not to waste our time or money. Service (2/5): This part is specifically for whoever manages this account and replies to reviews: please don’t enforce rules without considering the bigger picture. I asked for regular water—not to save 20 rupees, but to avoid contributing to unnecessary plastic waste from bottled water. The waiter kindly provided it, but someone instructed him to take it away because “it’s not in the policy.” Really? Even if that’s your rule, couldn’t you handle it discreetly after the customer leaves instead of making a scene? This rigid approach cost you a few customers, not because of the cost, but because of the lack of flexibility and professionalism. Another major issue was the micromanagement. I’ve been to many busier restaurants in the same city with far better service, and none of them had a micromanager breathing down everyone’s neck. The manager in the black uniform was literally deducting salaries or performance points in real-time while waiters were serving customers. This not only felt unprofessional but also created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere for both staff and diners. If you want to improve service, consider fostering a more supportive work environment for your team. Ambience (5/10): The ambience was a mixed bag—I’d rate it a 5/10. Too many elements felt overdone, from the excessive décor to the harsh, blinding lights that strained the eyes and made it hard to relax. Switching to softer, warmer lighting would make a huge difference. The noise level was also a problem, with constant shouting and high-volume music creating a chaotic, marketplace-like vibe. A restaurant should feel welcoming and peaceful—playing soft instrumental music at a low volume and minimizing unnecessary noise would go a long way. Final Thoughts: Overall, my visit was a disappointing experience, with lackluster food, rigid service, and an uncomfortable ambience overshadowing the few positives, like the decent starter. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and makes meaningful changes to improve the dining experience for future guests. Thank you for reading. Pros 1) Hospitality 2) Wide range in menu 3) Hygiene 4) Aesthetics Cons 1) Non-veg isn't upto the standard. We found the chicken too chewy and dry. 2) Music is loud. 3) If you love to have spicy food then this restaurant isn't for you. Even with all the spices the food tasted a bit bland. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
