Serving nicely cooked garlic parmesan, strawberry salads and vegetable salads is the unique characteristic of this restaurant. Do not go away without enjoying good shortbread cookies, fried custard and creme caramel. A lot of visitors order delicious white wine, rum or draft beer. Great lemonade, swizzle or espresso are what may make you come back to Bastian, Bandra.
You can arrange an anniversary, a wedding or a birthday party here. Appealing employees welcome guests all year round. This place is remarkable for its spectacular service. Absolutely DISGUSTING and unacceptable. During dinner, a large rat literally climbed onto our table and ran all over my shirt and legs while we were eating. This is not a minor issue, this is a serious health hazard. I am genuinely disturbed thinking about the food we consumed.What made it worse was the management’s response, they just casually justified it by saying they do pest control every two weeks and that the rat must have come from the outside dining area and gave us the bill to pay. That is NOT an excuse. If you cannot control hygiene in the outdoor area, you should not be serving food there.I have been a loyal customer since they opened and have celebrated multiple birthdays, anniversaries here, but this incident has completely shattered my trust. The lack of accountability and basic concern for customer safety is shocking.I will be escalating this matter further to consumer court and all over social media. If hygiene and health matter to you, think twice before dining at Bastian.

My girlfriend dragged me here for our anniversary and I'm not even mad about it. The hamachi was smooth as butter, cocktails were strong, and dessert came with a little candle which was a nice touch. Atmosphere is fancy but not uncomfortable.

The overall experience at Bastian, Bandra was underwhelming. The main course and starters lacked variety and taste—basic vegetarian options like paneer tikka or chaap were notably missing, which was disappointing. Service was another drawback. The staff appeared overburdened, with one server attending to multiple tables, leading to delays and a lack of attentiveness. On a positive note, the desserts were quite good. However, the mango ice cream didn't meet expectations—it lacked flavour, was served in a small portion, and had already started melting by the time it reached the table. Given the reputation and pricing, the experience did not live up to expectations. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
