The Basera Restaurant and Hotel is situated on the service road of Asian Highway 1 also called the Srinagar Kanyakumari Highway on the left hand side when travelling towards Delhi. The hotel offers motel type rooms with free breakfast. However, the rooms seem more suitable for bachelors rather than the families because of the location of the hotel. The restaurant has a large air conditioned hall and some outdoor seating. We had our lunch here on 16th March and we preferred the hall instead of the outdoor seating because of the dust from the road & the daytime heat. The restaurant serves vegetarian food - North Indian dishes and thali, south indian food like dosa, idli & uttapam and chinese dishes. It also serves snacks like tikki, chat etc alongside tea, coffee, icecream and kulfi. The food taste average but quantities are ample and cleanliness is maintained. The food price seems to be on the higher side but it could be because of its location. The service is prompt and the servers try their best to satisfy the customers. Mr. Ram Pratap served us really well. The washrooms are clean and well maintained. There's a free children's play area to keep them engaged. The restaurant accepts cash, UPI and Credit Cards. Overall a good place to refuel oneself. Service: 3
