Basaveshwara Khanavali is a hidden gem for those who love simple soulful food. This place serves delicious North Karnataka style food which is very soothing and just like home made food. Their specialty is Jowar roti meal and Ubattu. Meal contains Jowar Roti, two palya, cucumber, curd, chutney, sambar and rice. Everything is simple and just like home cooked. I always pack up my meal with their Obattu which is again served hot and loaded with Ghee. If you are in group, then don't miss ordering a few plates of hot bajji, it will be a mood lifter. The setup is simple and humble.
