Having seen Ripon Building, it's time to have a rest at this bar. Barracuda Brew is known for offering Chinese and Indian cuisines. Don't forget to taste nicely cooked prawns, chilli beef and roasted chicken at this place. Most guests recommend trying good brulee dessert, pudding and asida. When coming to this spot, try delicious beer. It's time to degustate great coffee.

Barracuda Brew was once among Chennai's finest spots, celebrated for good food, drinks, and exceptional hospitality. Last Saturday, my friends and I reserved a table at 9 PM, expecting a great evening. When we arrived, the rooftop felt dingy, with an atmosphere that was disappointingly lackluster, especially given the thin crowd—a surprising sight for a Saturday night.The Google listing indicated the place would close at 12 AM, so we ordered, thinking we had three hours to relax. However, around 9:45 PM, our waiter started rushing us, saying the kitchen was about to take its last orders and insisting we order desserts along with our mains. Shortly after, he also requested our final drink order. Within minutes, he brought out everything—drinks, main courses, and desserts—all at once, creating a chaotic dining experience.While we were still eating, at around 10:10 PM, he asked us to settle the bill immediately. We complied, even though it felt abrupt, especially given the hefty bill. Then, at 10:30 PM, the same waiter returned to tell us to leave, as they were closing early. Shocked, we pointed out that the listed closing time was 12 AM. At this point, the manager, Mr. Girish, stepped in with an unapologetic attitude, asking the waiter to refund our bill to get us out as soon as possible. His dismissive, rude approach was beyond disappointing, creating unnecessary conflict and treating us as if we were a nuisance.An establishment that charges premium prices should ensure its patrons are treated with respect, not hostility. With staff acting so unprofessionally, it’s surprising the place is still in business. Judging by the lack of responses to past reviews, it’s evident that the owners either aren’t aware or don’t care. Barracuda Brew’s team would benefit from serious hospitality training, and Mr. Girish, whose arrogance and lack of courtesy were on full display, is clearly unsuited to this industry. I would NOT recommend Barracuda Brew to anyone looking for a pleasant evening, as this experience was marked by disrespect and poor service.
