Visited Barometer in Kothrud, and overall it turned out to be a solid dining experience. The location is quite convenient—situated on City Pride Road, making it easy to access whether you’re planning a casual outing or a slightly dressier evening. It’s one of those places that works well for both spontaneous plans and planned meet-ups. The vibe is definitely one of its biggest strengths. The space has a casual-chic, slightly upscale feel with a lively yet comfortable atmosphere. It strikes a nice balance—not too loud or overwhelming, but still energetic enough to feel like a proper night-out spot. Great for long conversations, group dinners, or even relaxed brunch scenes. Food and drinks were good overall, with a wide variety across cuisines—from continental and Asian to Indian and bar bites, so there’s something for everyone. While not every dish is mind-blowing, the overall quality is consistent and enjoyable. Cocktails and beverages also add nicely to the experience. Service was smooth and the staff was attentive, contributing to the overall comfortable experience. All in all, Barometer is a reliable place in Pune for good ambience, a strong vibe, and a well-rounded menu. Not perfect, but definitely worth visiting for a nice evening out.
