We ordered-

I cannot stress enough how good the Pizza pockets and onion rings were. We had another round of pizza pockets and still wanted some more!
All starters are fresh, crisp soft covers, flavorful and moist on the insides, served with ketchup.
6. Sindhi Dal Pakwaan
The last time I had this Sindhi breakfast delicacy was 9 years ago from a friend's tiffin. So imagine my curiosity and expectations! When I had the first morsel, it was a scene from Ratatouille and I was Anton Ego, pushed back to time ? That good! The owner comes from a Sindhi family and this is home-made love!
7. Pan tossed momos, Burnt Garlic rice and Schezwan noodles
Being a Chinese food-hogger, these are must haves for me anywhere I go. The momos were soft and yet pan tossed to perfection, the burnt garlic rice was just the right balance of all the goodness and Schezwan noodles were amazing too. I love that they use their own Schezwan sauce. The quantity is good enough for 3 people to share, we were stuffed by this time
8. Fresh Minty Lemon Soda
This is a chef special and rightly so, it is unique. It is green in color, just the right balance of mint, salt, sweet, lemon. It is refreshing and cleanses your palate and soul ? I am going to have this everytime I come here
9. Strawberry fresh cream
Alas the thing we were craving for. Having had the strawberry fresh cream in Mahabeleshwar, we had a set expectation and we experienced better at a lower price! The strawberries were fresh and the cream was the perfect better half. Light, mildly sweet, perfect dairy combination. We loved that the strawberry syrup is home-made and not out of a Mapro or Mala bottle. Highly recommended!
10. Hazelnut (Nutella) chocolate spread
This is a home-made preparation and the base is our good old cooking oil, unlike the market ones. I got it for my kid, and he loves it. The spread has that nutty hazelnut flavor I love, is not grainy at all, is smooth and thick and can easily be spread on a warm chapati or bread.
We had an amazing evening at Barfi Box Cafe and I thank the parents (owners) for a lovely spread of delicacies!
