I have been a loyal customer at Barde Dhaba for over 4 years and never had any major issues until my recent visit. Yesterday, my male friend and I decided to dine at Barde Dhaba, as we always do. However, we noticed that the normal section was extremely dirty, with flies all over the tables. Because of this, we chose to sit in the family section (which we have done before). Strangely, an employee told us only those accompanied by women could sit there. Another staff member repeated the same, even though the family section was almost empty with just a few families. I tried to explain that we just wanted a clean place to eat, but were refused service. I understand concerns about groups of boys, but you can’t judge everyone the same way. If a boy is with a girlfriend, does that count as “family,” but two friends do not? That logic just isn’t fair. There is no legal rule stopping boys from sitting in the family section—guests shouldn’t be discriminated against like this. In the end, we left Barde Dhaba and went somewhere else where cleanliness and hygiene are prioritized, because our health is important. ️ Please, management, be careful with both your rules and cleanliness—customers deserve safe, clean, and welcoming spaces.
