I visited Barbeque Nation at Makmall recently with some friends, and here's what I thought of the food - the highs, the lows, and how it stacks up against the buzz online This is where Barbeque Nation really shines. The live-grill items (prawns, chicken tikka, paneer, mushroom, even pineapple) were well-marinated and flavorful. I particularly enjoyed the crispy corn and Cajun-spiced potato - simple things, but they were done with care. Many reviews echo this: starters are consistently praised across different sources. Desserts This was another highlight. The kulfis (especially mango and pan kulfi), angoori gulab jamuns, red velvet and chocolate pastries - these sweets had good texture and taste, and felt like the effort was put in. Not every dessert hit perfectly (more on that soon), but many reviewers and I both agree: the dessert counter is very good. They don't have any options compared to other place outlets. Went with my relative who are staying nearby to give them the experience of bbq nation. Even they were disappointed paying this price with no veg options for the price. Was really sad. Whenever asked they said its not available. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹1,200–1,400 Vegetarian options: Less options for veg since most of them in menu were unavailable Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot
