So glad I made time to visit Barako Cafe. The coffee is the BEST in McLeodganj and probably Dharamshala. Their skilled baristas use quality, fresh beans for their pour over. The only thing better than their coffee was the service. Really enjoyed every bit of the experience. I would make plans to come visit this shop and the team. I fell in love with this place. This is the one café you absolutely cannot miss during your stay. It’s super modern and honestly feels like the only place of its kind in the whole area. The coffee is pure heaven — they even have filter coffee — and the toasts are ridiculously tasty. The waiters are friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome instantly. On top of that, the views of the city and surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning. We ended up coming here again and again during our stay. Just a heads-up: they only accept cash, but it’s so worth it. Amazing food, amazing coffee, stunning vibes — I completely fell in love with this place!
