The food is okay. You'd want the Bang Bang Chicken. AC but small. Glasses aren't always close to clean, taxis are a little weird around that area. I don't recommend you enter any competitions because they'll rig it. Crowd is mostly merry and sweet yet wild over the weekends but if that's your thing and you like cameras in your face for their business, go for it. Bartender was nice but I didn't have anything but lime juice. In response to the owner: The taxis in the area were scarce. It is important to inform people about that in my reviews. That said, the taxi you called made me wait an hour, alone, you'd even seen me reenter Bar De Goa. He pretended to get lost for another hour, stopped to fill petrol and charged me extra. I didn't use him again, actually. I wouldn't care about winning. I entered on a whim. I cheered everyone on, chock full of double shifts and construction work in lungs. The competition was severely delayed too. Your winner herself texted to thank me for my song suggestion to her. I had already told everyone it's my first time. Don't think I did too badly given that I belted without having learned music. But other musicians were present. And they could tell the change in sound. You've comments on your own Instagram page saying it's rigged. Which weren't responded to. You've had a steady drop in contestants from the years prior as well. Don Rob's asks us first if we want our picture taken. It also feels like peer pressure. There's not a single picture I've tagged or wanted to reshare here. I hope if my opinion is disappointing, it is something to be considered still. I have found myself around less of Goa's ever so famous musicians but somehow more at peace. Hi Michelle, I’m surprised that it took you a while to pen down this review. We have always seen to it that you and for that matter anyone else was comfortable at bar de goa.we only helped you when You asked us to call for a cab and if u were not comfortable with the taxi driver then you shouldn’t have used him. And I’m extremely sorry that you didn’t win the competition, which u think was rigged and also which was judged by Goa’s topmost musicians. That’s totally unfair for you to say that, coz u never complained once during the trials, and the semis about the competition being rigged. And if ur not comfortable about being clicked then kindly inform the photographer about it and he will abide. Very disheartened that this is come from you.
