1/5 – Worst dining experience in Goa I visited Bar 51 based on its Google rating of 4.3, but the experience was extremely disappointing. When we reached the restaurant, it was completely empty and no staff was present. We had to ask a neighboring shop, who then called someone from the restaurant to come. After entering, the seating area we first chose was very unclean, so we had to change our place. When we asked for beer, more than half of the beers listed on the menu were not available, so we cancelled drinks and ordered food directly. The service was extremely slow—food arrived after around 30 minutes, and instead of serving starters first, the waiter brought rice items first, which shows a complete lack of basic service sense. When the starters finally arrived, they were not properly cooked. Throughout the meal, the waiter was never around. We had to literally call out loudly whenever we needed anything. The taste of all the food items was poor and pathetic, but we still did not argue at that time. To make things worse, the fan above our table was full of dirt, making it very uncomfortable and unhygienic to eat under it . At billing time, they charged ₹100 for a Sprite bottle that costs ₹40. We had to argue to get it corrected. The bill did not contain any GST number, and when asked, the staff clearly said the restaurant does not have a GST number. This was honestly the worst restaurant experience of my life. It felt like a scam—waste of money, time, and energy. Strongly recommend everyone to avoid this place at all costs. One of my favourite bars in goa if you're not into flashy cafes this is your spot it gives some dark vintage shady bar vibes which I love and their drinks which are all at such reasonable prices are a plus. Must try their LIIT and purple lamborgini. Also try the creamy chicken pasta and french fries. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ₹400–600 Recommended dishes: White Sauce Pasta Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free of charge street parking

great bar and restaurant right in the heart of the city. It’s the perfect spot to unwind with a cold beer, and the food pairs amazingly well with the drinks. The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, making it ideal for casual hangouts or evening plans. With its central location, good beer options, and tasty dishes, it’s definitely a go-to place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a great time. My only issue was that I felt that the service was a bit lackluster and could have been better. I had to tell the server 3 times for my limbu pani. But overall pretty good. Food: 5 Price per person: ₹400–600
