Love Bao To Me! Found one of the best Asian food joints in town. Big fan of their ambience and presentation. Staff is very courteous too! They have a lot of must try dishes, especially the truffle cream cheese. It is the stand out dish. Other recommended dish tori katsu rice and Baos. Will definitely be returning here soon! Let's start with the atmosphere, you walk in and you're almost immediately transported into a quaint Chinese Restaurant, Monkey King eating a Bao all over the restaurant had me hooked as soon as I saw it. The decor and interiors are so immersive, you almost forget that you're still within the streets of Bangalore. Next, the food, the quality of the food is simply unmatched. Could not stop eating, from the dim sums, to the baos, to the udon noodles, to the katsu curry rice everything struck my palate perfectly. Even the Mango Kombucha is far superior to anything else available in Bangalore. Pan Asian at its finest. Personal Recommendations - Start with the Truffle Cream Cheese Dimsum goes well with the Scallion or the Garlic side provided(couldn't stop at just one plate), Next, a signature of the restaurant the bao, the Chicken Bao or Schezwan Chicken Bao with Chilli Oil(I got both, because why not?!). Next, onto the main course, go for either the Tori Yaki Udon or Tori Katsu Curry Rice or both, like I did. Last but not least, Mizu Shingen Mochi, super light. I had to go light on the dessert because I ate too much prior to it.:) Unfortunately, I'm a non-vegetarian so I did not try any of the vegetarian options.
