My first visit to Bao Bangalore was fantastic – the food was fresh, flavorful, and the whole experience left me wanting to come back. Unfortunately, my second visit was a complete letdown. I ordered just 2 baos and 1 tai pao, but it took 45 minutes to get them. To make matters worse, several larger orders placed after mine were served before me. The delay itself was frustrating, but what truly ruined the experience was the rude behavior at the counter. The lady managing the orders mistakenly gave mine to someone else, who opened it, started eating, and then returned it. Shockingly, she tried to hand me the cold, returned food. When I asked for a fresh one, it took another 15 minutes to get it. There’s no doubt that the food here is still delicious – the baos are genuinely good – but the poor service and lack of courtesy really overshadowed the taste.
