Banana Patra - Authentic South Indian Food Restaurant in Surat is a great place to experience the authentic taste of South Indian cuisine. The restaurant has a unique setup with all waiters dressed in traditional south Indian attire including lungi and kurta, giving it a very traditional and welcoming feel. The food served here is excellent with great taste and quality. The Mysore Masala Dosa with all the chutneys and the Lassi are especially delicious. They have a wide variety of dishes like Podi Dosa, Cheese Paneer Samosa, Bisibele Rice, Dhosa, Pizza Dosa and more. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the quality of food, it is totally worth it. The service is also quite fast and professional. All in all, Banana Patra is a great place to enjoy some delicious South Indian food.

Good authentic South Indian food. We tried variety of dosas, rasam vada and idli. All were good. The ambiance is very noisy on busy days. They serve in kansa dishes with banana leaf which is very pleasing and you get unlimited sambar chutney. Dhosa is good Idli batter and smooth & Uttapam Unlimited chatney sambhar Best food South Indian test in gujrat Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Noise level: Moderate noise Wait time: No wait Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Menu is all vegetarian

Food is okay, service is bakwaasss, don't visit I have been going here since last 3-4 years and this place used to be good. But now looks like success is now on their heads. Food taste is not good. Also the service is very downgraded. You will keep asking for Sambhar n all, but you won't get it before asking them for 3-4 times. This I have felt even while going in low rush times with them. Also the amount of Sambhar and chutney they give, the quantity is very low. They are decreasing the quantity day by day (Check my photos, one is older one and second is of today), dont know how much you want to earn @bananapatra The charges they take, this is not acceptable. Today I went there as we were planning to have a 100 people party but very disappointed I would not suggest this place anymore to anybody. Looks like they don't care for their customers now. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO HERE ANYMORE. There are plenty more options guys, explore them, they are alos cheaper than this. The food is served with grace and elegantly on banana leaf (patra). The tase was quite good and we ordered more to pamper our taste buds.
The cleanness and the lighting in the cafe attracts every one's attention. Like to visit this place more and more.
