If you ask one thing I will miss about Thane, that would be Balkum Katta. Since I started getting food from here, I stopped ordering from anywhere else. Balkum Katta is run by a family and it is providing home quality food. They have limited menu, but whatever they provide is freshly and neatly prepared. Tastewise it is also good. Many a times when I order something, they asked me to wait as they would be preparing it. What could be better then a freshly prepared food? Restaurant owner and his family is also very good behaved. They are such a gentle people.
