The success of Balettan's Fish Fry Centre would be impossible without the cheerful staff. Nice service is something that people note in their comments. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are fair. Balettan’s Fish Fry Centre in Kadalundi is a must-visit for seafood lovers. The place is simple but offers some of the best traditional Kerala-style fish fries. The Karimeen, Thirutha and Chemballi fry were especially tasty and fresh. Prices are reasonable, though a few items like the Chemmeen roast felt a bit pricey. The staff is friendly, and service is quick. Great spot if you’re craving authentic coastal flavors in a no-frills setting. Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Rating: (2/5) We had food for 4 people and the total bill came to ₹1480, which felt overpriced for the overall experience. One fish fry (Chembally) alone cost ₹780 and a single prawn dish was ₹500. Meals were priced reasonably at ₹60 each, but the rest didn’t justify the price. The place was very congested, filled with smoke from the wooden kitchen, making it uncomfortable to sit and eat. On top of that, some staff members were openly quarreling inside, adding to the chaotic atmosphere. Not a great experience overall — the pricing and ambiance definitely need improvement.
