If you have never come across Caribbean cuisine, you should order a table at this restaurant. Eating perfectly cooked chicken, fried fish and fried prawns is what most clients advise. Here you may have delicious beer.
Balcao Restaurant is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Adequate prices are something that should be said about this place. The homey decor and lovely ambiance let visitors feel relaxed here. Based on the users' feedback on Google, this spot deserved 4.2.

Laidback feel. Sit outside and see the world pass by. Feels like you are having lunch in an old goan home. Tasty thali and great service. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommendation for vegetarians: Not sure

This restaurant is not good at all. I ordered chicken with Roti and roti was from packs ready-made available at shops which is ₹70.00 per pack. The quality of rice was very bad and it was the cheapest rice and their chicken was hard and chewy. They kept neck piece for me which I don't like at all. Me and a female friend of mine went to Balcao for AC but their AC wasn't working and it feels hot inside. The colours of walls and decorative piece is nice but their red cushions looks bad and it is not matching at all times with colors of blue walls. The food is not good but at the same time it is expensive. I don't recommend Balcao restaurant to anyone at all. It is unnecessarily expensive and doesn't worth spending money there at all. If they can improve their food l, services and repair AC, then it's fine. I was so worried that it might be closed while I was taking my friend there. Anyways guys.... Don't go to this restaurant.
