A time will come when Amdavadis will be able to count the number of stars in the sky but not the number of Dosa franchises after the evolution of Fusion Dosas. On larger perspective, there are only a few franchises who ace the game of fusion dosas and live up to the flavours. Some of them just add extra cheese or mayonnaise and call it a flavour. Balan Dosa has been a household name in AMDAVAD, since many years. Just like Honest. And here at Sindhu Bhavan, they have upped their game by somewhat living up to your craving of having Fusion Dosas. I have been to this place several times and I can say, the quality hasn’t been compromised of original Balan as we Amdavadis know it. For the safe players, you can order either of Chesse Maisoor Masala, Gotala Dosa, Cheese Franky, and Gini Dosa. These will never disappoint you. However, they don’t live upto the hype when it comes to some fusion dosa varieties. Sambhar taste has been consistent and that’s what every South Indian Restaurant wishes. The added chutney flavours will make sure to balance the taste of your order. Overall, a safe place to go if you crave for Dosas with a family dinning space. Just one thing, the costs of Dosas is a “little” higher and as per SBR standards but that can be adjusted against how close they are reachable to you. Adding some photos of my dishes and the place.
