I wanted to order a cake for my brother’s birthday, so I decided to go with Bakingo. I had selected their Chocolate Dream Cake, but it wasn’t available at the Kothrud branch , only at the Camp branch. To confirm, I contacted their customer care. The representative told me that the Chocolate Dream Cake was discontinued, and also advised me not to order from Zomato, saying I’d get a better discount if I ordered directly from the official Bakingo website. I followed the instructions and placed my order there. But after an hour, I received a call saying they cannot deliver because my location was supposedly 20 km away from their kothrud store which is completely false, as my location is just 7–8 km from the Kothrud area. Also, if the cake was really discontinued, how was it showing as available at the Camp branch? This just proves there’s zero coordination between their customer care, website, and stores. Overall, a pathetic and unprofessional experience. Misleading customers into ordering and then cancelling without reason is unacceptable. Definitely not ordering from Bakingo again. Service: Delivery
