Review for Bakery Pausenbrot Bakery Pausenbrot is more than just a place to grab a bite—it’s a warm, soulful experience. The apple crumble here is hands down the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere. The topping is so perfectly textured and unique that even my kids and I couldn’t figure out how it was made—we were so intrigued, we had to ask the baker! What makes this place truly special is the story behind it. The photos on the walls share the journey of the baker—how she taught in Rajasthan for 7 years, and come from a family with generations in education. You can feel that same care, attention to detail, and love for craft in every item they serve. She and her partner are one deeply dedicated couple, and it shows in their baking. The bread is exceptional, and every dessert we tried was made with purpose and heart. A must-visit spot if you value not just great food, but the people and passion behind it.
