The service needs to improve a lot because it doesn't do justice to the yummy food and wonderful ambience this place offers. The service was very slow, it's like they don't even notice your presence and it progressed only when the customer itself hinted multiple times to take the order. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

There are many cafes on the MG Marg but the view, food, music and variety of desserts in Baker's Cafe is unique. During my long stay in Gangtok, this was my favourite breakfast spot. Corner table with a view of the snow capped mountains, light music and coffee. Try the shakshuka and croissants. Pair it with a hazelnut latte and a dessert from the spread for a great start to your day. Evenings can get busy and crowded though and therefore a breakfast or brunch is a great time to relax here. The service is nice but just like everything else in the mountains, it takes its time.
