Very beautiful cafe with great food options and breathtaking views of Himalayas. I visited Gangtok in 2015 and on my last day in Gangtok, in morning i visited this place and had a vegetable puff alongside view of Himalayas, that was incredible experience but i the time was limited. In March 2025, i visited the Gangtok and revisited the Baker’s cafe. This time i ha enjoyed their delicious pizza, creamy hummus with perfect falafels and loved their coffee and ginger-lemon honey tea. I specially enjoyed the view of Himalayas and this cafe has very happening vibe. The wooden interiors, the miniatures on the entrance and the small details on the walls are just perfect. On last day i had an incredible cheesecake. Will definitely visit this place again and highly recommend this place to all. I believe this might be one of the most famous cafe on MG Road in Gangtok. We discovered this gem thanks to a recommendation from a local travel agency owner nearby, and it definitely lived up to the hype. They have an impressive variety of bakery items, but the madeleines were absolutely outstanding. Unlike the typical madeleines we’re used to, these had a more crumbly, less moist texture, but they were faithful to the classic lemon and butter flavors, simply delicious. My friend ordered the aglio olio spaghetti both times we visited, and he‘s been traveling for 4 months now. He says this is still the best pasta he’s had during her entire trip. That’s quite a testament to their cooking. And the western breakfast was decent, nothing extraordinary but satisfying. The cafe offers lovely views and the staff is exceptionally attentive to details. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to sit and spend time. Bakery and Cafe in hills is a must. And Baker's cafe fulfills it both as a tick mark and beyond it with good coffees (Hazelnut Latte & Capuccino) and apple pie - what we had. Views are good too - one side opening up to the valley while the other onto MG Road. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹200–400
