This reply is a long one, but plz bear with us. Thanks to Bhavana for the review, as it lets me put in a word regarding our policies. Apologies mam, we were not dismissive of your complaint. I agree completely and was in discussion with the staff same day itself. We just may not have communicated correctly. I have been repeatedly urging our clients via posts , chats and other interactions to pick simpler designs with less color and fondant for few years now. Check out this post dated Sep 2023.https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/18053160562470759/Some agree and modify the designs , some disagree due to pressure by peers or their children's happiness and some agree with me but then order elsewhere.As a business dependant on profit, we are torn between the customer who wants photogenic bright cake and one, like Ms.Bhavana , who does not like the excessive color. We buy the most premium colors we can find , to get the best shades & finish in our fondant cakes. Similar to makeup , we pay higher prices for deeper color pigments. But price aside , personally ,I agree with this review and don't think bright colors are needed in food. Starting now we will reduce synthetics in all our catalog designs and off the shelf products, starting with the raspberry glace.... We may probably lose some business to more attractive looking cakes and flashier brands, but this has to start somewhere. We humbly ask that our clients to support this move and educate their kids as well. For the clients who want zero additives, plz ask for the BakerawfromBakeroe menu. Currently we recieve only 2-3 orders a week and if we were a standalone brand , we would have shut shop by now. Thank you!
