This is a quiet place in Racecourse that serves good bread and desserts. The desserts were good and tasted nice. Tried GF Sticky Toffee and Red Velvet with Cream Cheese, both were good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Extremely poor quality for the price charged. The attached photo shows the condition of the cake. It was loaded with such an excessive amount of food colour that it stained teeth and hands for more than 7 hours and even left a permanent stain on clothing. This is not normal or acceptable for any edible product, especially one sold as “premium.” When I raised this concern, the response was that customers prefer dark colours and that darker colours are “stronger” and premium. That explanation ignores the real issue — edible food colours should not stain like this. Total disregard to the feedback, dismissive, arrogant and complacent response to customers reviews. At ₹900 for 1/2kg cake , this experience was completely unacceptable. I will not be ordering again and strongly advise others to be cautious. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

This reply is a long one, but plz bear with us. Thanks to Bhavana for the review, as it lets me put in a word regarding our policies. Apologies mam, we were not dismissive of your complaint. I agree completely and was in discussion with the staff same day itself. We just may not have communicated correctly. I have been repeatedly urging our clients via posts , chats and other interactions to pick simpler designs with less color and fondant for few years now. Check out this post dated Sep 2023. https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/18053160562470759/ Some agree and modify the designs , some disagree due to pressure by peers or their children's happiness and some agree with me but then order elsewhere. As a business dependant on profit, we are torn between the customer who wants photogenic bright cake and one, like Ms.Bhavana , who does not like the excessive color. We buy the most premium colors we can find , to get the best shades & finish in our fondant cakes. Similar to makeup , we pay higher prices for deeper color pigments. But price aside , personally ,I agree with this review and don't think bright colors are needed in food. Starting now we will reduce synthetics in all our catalog designs and off the shelf products, starting with the raspberry glace.... We may probably lose some business to more attractive looking cakes and flashier brands, but this has to start somewhere. We humbly ask that our clients to support this move and educate their kids as well. For the clients who want zero additives, plz ask for the BakerawfromBakeroe menu. Currently we recieve only 2-3 orders a week and if we were a standalone brand , we would have shut shop by now. Thank you!
